The following cards are limited in their use in Japanese tournament circles. This list is effective starting 03/01/05. Yes, BANNED cards have finally made an appearance on this list, as set forth by Konami of Japan.

Konami updates this restricted list every four or five months, if there are any cards that are being abused during tournaments, or have a overbearing presence on games. If you can read Japanese, check the official Japanese Duel Monsters site at http://www.yugioh-card.com/japan/ .

Cards that were changed/added to the list since the last update as in yellow. Cards that have been slated for release in English but have not yet been released are in cyan. English card names are known for some of those cards, but have not been "slated" for release as of yet, so their names are NOT present on this list.
