Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters

Episode 105: A Bet For Victory

Jounouchi tries to lay a trap for the low-leveled Fusion Monster, Chaos Wizard. However, Judge Man activates the Permanent Magic card, Ha Des' Command, which boosts a level 4 or lower Fusion Monster's attack strength by 800 when battling another Monster.

Jounouchi tries to react with the Demon's Die card, but unknown to Jounouchi, Man "cheats" by turning the die to a 1. He tries to use the Angel's Die on his turn, but turns out the same. As yet another gamble, Jounouchi plays the Gamble Trap card, and flips his coin...

...and it comes up tails. Judge Man begins to polish off whatever remains of Jounouchi's cards, including Scapegoats, with the low-level Fusion Monsters.

The other Yugi has a feeling that even though the gamble cards that Jounouchi played all "failed," they shouldn't have failed by much. Something is amiss. At that time, Noa shows up, stating that the duel is invalidated.

Noa has known that Man cheated by altering the results of the gambling cards. Though Man proceeds to state that it is simply one tactic to win, Noa feels there is no meaning to cheating to win, and won't satify the complete and utter destruction of Seto Kaiba.

Kaiba watches from a slightly buried TV that is on a beach. He truly begins to wonder who Noa is.

Noa attempts to allow Jounouchi to win, but Jounouchi simply asks to let the game continue. Jounouchi attaches the Equipment Magic card Friendslaying Demon Sword - Burning Soul to his now-summoned Flame Swordsman. Then he uses Painful Decision (not to be confused with Painful Choice/Distressing Selection). Jounouchi takes the top two cards of his deck, and has his opponent choose one of them. If it's a Monster, it's Special Summoned. Otherwise, they go to the Cemetery. Jounouchi picks up a Shield in the Right Hand, Sword in the Left Hand, and also a Goblin Strike Team.

Man chooses the Magic card...but changes his mind at the last moment. Jounouchi summons the Goblins, sacrifices it, and attacks Man's weakest Fusion Monster to win.

The preparations for the next duel are supposed to begin, but the crew doesn't know who it could be. Thus, they decide to try and find the others before it happens.
Episode 106: A Man's Blossoming Path. Honda's Defeat With Honor

Honda, Otogi and Shizuka are talking in the middle of an open Field about what has happened to the rest of the rew, and that they should be careful and look out for anything suspicious.

Jounouchi, Yugi and Anzu hurry their search for the rest of the players.

Back in the Field, Honda and company find a door that appears out of nowhere. Despite Otogi saying that they should be careful, Shizuka opens the door, and all three are transported to some sort of mechanical room or warehouse of sorts.

Someone has been waiting for -- Big 4, in the guise of the Machine Sergeant (misnamed in my Mythological Age file as Machine Corp). He challenges the first person that stepped into the room -- Shizuka. Honda offers to play in her stead, while Otogi offers to play for Honda. Both Honda and Shizuka have not played the game before.

Unable to decide, Otogi offers the Sergeant a deal of having both Otogi and Honda play against the Sergeant, and he takes one of their bodies. The Sergeant has an even better idea -- all THREE of them will play against him, but he will take all of their bodies if he wins.

The game begins with the players choosing the cards for their decks. Otogi chooses the Swift Black Ninja as his Deck Master, Honda chooses Raremetal Knight, and Shizuka the Goddess of the Truthful Eye.

True to his namesake, the Machine Sergeant is playing a Machine Deck, and begins to target Shizuka. Jounouchi and the group here her while walking through a cave, and hurry. He also uses his Deck Master ability, which allows him to discard Machine Sub-Type Monsters from his hand to do 500 damage to an opponent of his choice for each card discarded.

Kaiba and Mokuba walk through a desert, where they see a Kaiba military installation in the distance. It was one in which Kaiba destroyed.

As the duel continues, Shizuka's experience proves to be a handicap for Honda and Otogi, who need to protect her. Despite putting up a defense, the Sergeant plays the Clockwork Night Field Magic card, which turns all Monsters on the Field into Machines. Monsters that weren't initially Machines have their attack and defense strengths reduced by 500; pure Machines have their attack and defense strengths increased by 500. He follows it up with the Short Magic card, which turns opponents' Monsters to attack mode.

And his target will be Shizuka's weak Monster. However, Honda summons his Deck Master and throws it in the way of the attack. Since he loses his Deck Master, Honda is removed from the game. He drops through a door in the floor, into molten metal.
Episode 107: Saint Jeanu. The Three In One Attack

Yugi and company once again hear Shizuka scream, and continue to run their way through the cave.

After losing Honda in such a way, Shizuka begins to freak out. There's nothing that can be done except to skip her turn.

Otogi uses a combination of the Dice Dungeon and Dimension Dice cards to turn the Field to summon the God Orguss into play by sacrificing two Monsters.

In order to battle, each player chooses a Monster he or she controls on the Field, then rolls a die. An effect is applied to the Monster, depending on the die roll. Otogi wins the first contest of it.

However, the Sergeant uses the Metal Recycling Factory to fuse himself and a destroyed Machine King into the Super Warrior - Perfect Machine King, which gets a bonus of 500 for each Machine on the Field. King starts the Dungeon Dice roll again, this time winning.

King's vengeance is against Seto Kaiba, for ruining his miltary goals.

After a quick pep-talk from Otogi, Shizuka gets her nerve together to continue the duel. Jounouchi, Anzu and Yugi burst into the room.

Shizuka needs to make a card play, but thinks. She thinks back to something Honda was telling her on the train trip from the hospital. There are strong Monsters that need sacrifices to summon. However, there are some strong Monsters that can be fused together to get around the sacrifice requirement. However, they need the Fusion Magic card to do so.

Shizuka knows she has to fuse, but does not have the Fusion Magic card. Her Deck Master takes this opportunity to tell Shizuka that she can discard any Magic card from her hand to activate the Fusionic Eye Deck Master ability, which allows her to fuse Monsters without the Fusion Magic card.

Shizuka discards a Magic card and fuses Marie and Compassionate Nun into Saint Jeanu. It's almost enough to defeat the Perfect Machine King. Yugi says that the battle isn't finished yet, and that they need to combine all three of their power to win. Even though Honda isn't there, one of his Monsters and a card that he Set on the Field still are.

Otogi uses the Deck Master ability of his Swift Black Ninja. By discarding two cards from his hand, he can activate's Honda's Set card on the Field -- Raremetal Soul, an Instant Magic card that increases a Fusion Monster's attack strength by 1000. Jeanu is boosted, and attacks the Perfect Machine King, destroying it. However, King states that a body has already been taken -- Honda's.

The duel ends, and in a room somewhere, a robotic monkey hums to life.
Episode 108: Mokuba Has Been Taken. Kaiba vs. Psycho Shocker

The monkey freaks out when it sees its own reflection.

Somewhere else in the city where the warehouse was, Kaiba and Mokuba walk. A figure leaps across the rooftops.

Honda attacks Kaiba. As everyone else gathers, they find out that it is not Honda, but Big 4 which has taken control of his body. Big 4 is ready to finish off Kaiba, but the monkey leaps onto his head from out of nowhere. Jounouchi takes the chance and knocks Big 4 through a wall. However, Big 4 grabs a motorcyle and takes off with Mokuab as a hostage.

Kaiba pursues on his own motocycle. The monkey tries to get everyone's attention, but can't talk. The crew decides to follow Kaiba.

Kaiba exits a tunnel, onto an incomplete bridge. He jumps a gap in the bridge, and jumps off the cycle, letting it explode. There is someone waiting for him. on the other side of the gap -- Big 5.

Noa appears further down the bridge, stopping Big 4. Noa takes Mokuba to a room somewhere else in the world. Noa and Mokuba watch the duel from the room.

Kaiba chooses the Lord of Dragon as his Deck Master, and Big 5 chooses one that he will let Kaiba see at a later point.

Kaiba starts out strong, but as Big 5 starts to counter his plays, Kaiba activates the Deck Destruction Virus of Death. However, Big 5's Deck Master ability prevents it -- his Deck Master being the Psycho Shocker. It's ability is to negate all of the opponent's Trap cards. Big 5 then reveals his hatred for Seto.

During one of Kaiba's birthdays, Gozaburou gave Mokuba and Kaiba each two percent of the Kaiba Corporation. He also gives Kaiba a stack of money and tells him to make a hundred-fold of it in one year's time. If he can't, he won't be able to inherit the Kaiba Corporation... and be returned to the orphanage.

In the end, Kaiba uses the money to purchase a company, and made a vow to surpass Gozaburou for turning aside Kaiba's dream of the Virtual System.

The duel continues. Shocker uses a number of life-gaining cards, such as Blessing of God, Sebek's Bleeings and Life Absorber in combination with Injection Angel Lilly.

Shocker then summons the Satellite Cannon, which takes off into orbit...its target set on Kaiba.
