On the way out to see the pairings for the next round, Mai asks Jounouchi if she was in his dream. Though she was, he simply says that she wasn't, due to the dream being at school.

Hieratic text is from ancient Egypt. When Pegasus created the God cards, the text for Ra was unable to be translated, so he simply transferred the text, as he found it, onto the card.

Mai tries to use a card to stop Malik's attacks of his two other Monsters, but Malik plays a Monster to to return her Set cards to her hand. The two Monsters, Holding Arms and Holding Legs, attach her to a dark tablet.
