Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters

Episode 61: Black Magic of the soul

In the direct attack, Yugi reduces Pandora's Life Points to 1500. At the same time, Anzu and Sugoroku are looking around for Yugi.

Pandora has a plan as he Sets a card and summons a Monster. Yugi summons a Monster, when Pandora springs the Trap. Using the Black Magic Coffin of Revival, he sacrifices one of his Monsters, and the one that Yugi just played, to summon the Black Magician from his Cemetery. For the next few turns, Pandora and Yugi take turns placing cards. Then Pandora takes the initiative.

He activates the Decapitating Blade, but Yugi counters with the Magical Silk Hat. Pandora uses Thousand Knives, and Yugi counters with Magical Release. Pandora attacks with his Black Magician, destroying his and Yugi's. Then, at the same time, they activate Raise Dead, bringing them back into play.

Yugi asks why Pandora would become Malik's servant. Pandora goes into his back story of how he was an incredible stage magician, but in one of his tricks, he was horribly scarred. He lost his love (who he shunned), but it was too late to realize it. Malik then promised to get her back for him.

Back at the Kaiba Corporation, Kaiba is searching for Yugi. The signals from his Duel Disk are not showing up. Instead, he has his people search for areas that can operate as a Duel Ring. They find one, and Mokuba takes off to see.

Pandora uses Hand To The Darkness to destroy the Magician, but Yugi activates his Spirit Mirror card to change the target to Pandora's Magician. Pandora then activates the Crucifix of Nightmares card, that locks down a Black Magician from moving when the opponent uses a Trap card. Pandora directly attacks Yugi.

Mokuba meets up with Anzu and Sugoroku, and then make their way to the point the Corporation found.

Pandora summons a Killer Doll, and then uses the Field Magic card, Ectoplasm, to sacrifice the Doll to do half of its attack strength in damage to Yugi. Pandora also sacrifices his Black Magician, but Yugi's sacrifices itself while on the crucifix to negate the attack.
Episode 62: The Black Magician Apprentice. The Black Magician Girl

The Black Magician sacrificed itself to block the attack at Yugi. Though Pandora no longer has any Monsters left on the Field, he places a card and ends his turn.

Yugi tries to summon a Big Shield Guarder, but Pandora activates his Nightmare Scales card, which makes the opponent destroy Monsters on his or her Field until they equal his. Pandora has none, so both of Yugi's Monsters are destroyed.

Pandora uses the Field card, Curtain of Black Magic, to summon a Black Magician from his deck. He attacks, but the Curtain of Black Magic appears on Yugi's Field. Since it's a Field Magic card [EDO'S NOTE: It's a Field Magic ONLY in the comic and animated series), Yugi's allowed to use it, too.

He summons the Black Magician Girl from his deck. Pandora attacks, but his Magician is destroyed. Yugi reveals the ability of the Black Magician Girl. Yugi then attacks Pandora directly, winning the game.

Though Pandora has a key hidden in his sleeve to help him out of getting his legs cut off, Malik removes the memory of the key from Pandora, so that he doesn't know he has it. Yugi quickly frees Pandora.

Malik reveals his true name and history -- that his family has been cursed to watch over the Pharaoh's legacy, and keep the world safe from the threat of bringing the Millennium Items together again. To be freed from that fate, the pharaoh needs to be killed. Malik also plans to become the new Pharaoh by collecting all three God cards.
Episode 63: The Trap of Revenge. Infected! Parasite

Jounouchui meets up with Yugi and Mai in the city square. It's the second day of the Battle City tournament. Back at Yugi's house, Anzu and Honda find out that Yugi had already left to go to the tournament.

While walking around, Jounouchi meets someone who wants his autograph. He boy asks to try on the Duel Disk. Jounouchi agrees, but the boy runs off with it.

Jounouchi catches up with him (and runs into Honda and company at the same time). The boy says that a weird guy with big glasses and an annoying laugh took his cards. Jounouchi decides to hunt down Insector Haga.

After Jounouchi and the rest leave, the boy goes back to find Insector Haga. Though Haga promises to give him a rare card, he gives him a common, and sprays goo on him. Haga's goal is to get revenge on what happened to him in the Duelist Kingdom.

At the hospital, Shizuka hears someone come into her room. The nurse comes in, looking for a boy. When the nurse leaves, Shizuka tells the boy to come out. She needs him to tell her what is going on in the Battle City tournament on the laptop.

Jounouchi and Haga meet up, and begin the duel, betting two rare cards and two Puzzle Cards. Though Jounouchi appears to be taking the lead when getting his Psycho Shocker out, Haga's Mind Leech begins to keep restoring his Life Points.

Jounouchi keeps destroying the Monster that Haga has, but the last one he defeats allows him to place an Insect Monster on the Field -- the Larvae Moth. He then attaches the Evolutionary Cocoon to it. He wasn't able to summon the Perfectly Evolved Great Moth during the Duelist Kingdom, but he would do so now.

Haga then uses the Unleash Parasite card to pull the Parasite card from Jounouchi's deck. It turns all of his Monsters into Insects, and then can't be sacrificed. Then realize that the boy who stole his Duel Disk put the card in.

Jounouchi tries to get rid of the Cocoon, but Haga's Insect Barrier card prevents him from attacking. And before long, the Perfectly Evolved Great Moth hatches.
Episode 64: The Knight of Iron, Gear Freed

It's going to be hard for Jounouchi to come back. Haga attacks the Parasite with the Great Moth, but in a brilliant move, Jonouchi uses a combination of the Angel's Die and Demon's Die to destroy the Great Moth.

Haga takes one of his Monsters, and by using the Insecticide card, destroys it. But the effect of the Monster is that it allows him to play an Insect Monster from his hand. Haga plays the Insect Queen. The Insect Queen's attack strength increases by the number of Insect cards on the Field.

Haga burns through each of Jounouchi's Monsters. However, Jounouchi plays the Gear Freed card, which can't be infected. Jounouchi can keep attacking Haga's Monsters, even through the Barrier.

Though Haga plays a combo to increase the Insect Queen's attack strength to epic proportions, Jounouchi uses his Grave Digger card to grab the Insecticide card from Haga's Cemetery, and destroy the Insect Queen. One more attack from Gear Freed wins the game for Jounouchi.
